First things first. When arrested for a violation of California Vehicle Code Section 23152(b) – DUI with a BAC over .08 percent, most people will receive a pink piece of paper from the police officer. This is your temporary license. It is valid for 30 days. What most people do not do is read the whole thing. If they did, they would know that they only have 10 days from the date of arrest to contact the DMV to schedule an administrative per se hearing (ASP). If you do not, the DMV in most cases will suspend your license regardless of what happens in court. Again, this is in most cases.
With that being said, feel free to contact me, Jimmy Cha, your DUI Attorney in Fullerton. I will take the time to explain the DUI process, defenses, penalties, and what to expect. There is a lot of information that you should know regarding your DUI. I would be more than happy to discuss your DUI with you.

Founding member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys.
I started working in a criminal defense firm while I was at undergrad at UCLA. While in law school, I externed for the Juvenile Defenders Office and Public Defenders Office, here in Orange County, and opened up my own criminal defense practice in 2008. My whole adult career has been around helping people in trouble, and have been representing clients with DUI’s from the very beginning.
I have received extensive training on Field Sobriety Tests (FST’s), and have defended thousands of DUI clients. DUI’s is a highly specialized field. You want an attorney who understands how to properly defend and fight your DUI.
I have never put anyone in jail. I’m not a former prosecutor. I have never had the mindset that people belong in jail. Rather, I know that good people make mistakes from time to time. This doesn’t mean they belong in jail. I’m not here to judge you. That is not my job. My job is to ensure that your Constitutional rights are being upheld, and to provide the best defense and solution possible to your matter.
As your DUI Attorney in Fullerton, I will go to court for you. You do not want to just hire any attorney from anywhere. You want someone who is local to the courthouse and familiar with the judges and prosecutors. My office is right now the street from the courthouse. I’m at the North Justice Center in Fullerton two to three times a week, sometimes more. I know how to navigate through the courthouse, and know the judges and prosecutors that you will appear in front of.
