  Being able to work with Jimmy was truly a great experience!

Initially this was an old case that I had hope to put behind me, however, it kept finding a way to creep back into my life and when my previous attorney said nothing could be done I initially lost all hope. I remember meeting Jimmy and remembered him being a defense attorney and thought it was worth asking.

I reached out during the weekend not really expecting a response until Monday, but he immediately called me and asked me about my case. I gave him a brief description and he was able to put me at ease and said he would happily take on the case.

To be honest, I was hesitant at first as my previous attorney said nothing could be done, but something in me told me to just go with it and I’m sure glad I did.   I highly recommend Jimmy as a criminal defense lawyer in the OC area. My goal was for my case was dismissal, and Jimmy successfully got my case dismissed.

For my attorney search, I scoped out to 4 lawyers, and Jimmy was my confident choice for a few reasons. He is not only highly proficient in keeping up to date in the amending OC laws, but he’s also extremely knowledgeable and efficient in navigating through the OC court system.

1. Local knowledge of Anahiem court system - After I provided details of my case during my consultation call, he gave me a very detailed run down of the court that my arraignment was to take place (changes in judge rotations, arraignment room number, pre-trial room, etc…). He’s been practicing law in OC since 2004 and is ingrained in the local judicial community (active member in North County Bar Association). I felt assured that he had a good reputation with the Anahiem lawyer community (lawyers and judges). Jimmy also informed me that his office is a mile away from North Justice Center and that he represents all of his clients (no associate substitute).

2. Ease of communication - Because Jimmy works directly with all of his clients (no associates), I had direct access to him via phone, text, and email. He answered all my questions within the day. He would always give me a heads up when he would be unavailable (because he was at court) and followed up with a timeframe of answering back.

3. Proactivity - After my consultation call (before I made the decision to hire Jimmy and was scoping additional lawyers), he went out of his way to update me about a timely announcement from Jennifer Contini’s (Chief Deputy Anahiem City Attorney) that may positively impact my overall situation. I was honestly surprised that Jimmy took the time to call and update me even though I wasn’t officially his client. It made a deep impression. After I officially hired Jimmy, he was clear in my next action items to strengthen a dismissal outcome.

 Verified Jimmy is a great lawyer. He has years of criminal defense experience and is very dedicated to his clients. I was facing multiple felonies in June 2023 and I called Jimmy maybe a day or two after I bailed out of jail. Off the bat I could tell that he was very professional, genuine, and cared about his clients. He also is very highly respected and reviewed across most platforms ( yelp, avvo etc.) He was able to get my felonies rejected/dismissed literally a month after in July 2023. Can't really imagine a better result than that. I've hired lawyers in the past and what stood out to me in regards to Jimmy is how honest and professional he is. He understood that I was just a normal person that got caught into an unfortunate situation and I needed help. Mr. Jimmy Cha truly understands that those who call him are in the midst of a crisis and he does his utmost to offer a compassionate ear and helpful words in an effort to aid. This is coming from someone who hasn't spent a single dime on his services. I first called him for an initial (free) consultation and he took a significant amount of his own time to speak to me about my situation.  Verified I had a warrant out for my arrest in 2012 in California, I was in California for only 4 months in 2012 and have lived in New England and Florida ever since. I do not know anyone in CA so I researched well known attorneys in the area and came across Jimmy and his great reviews. Since the first phone call he was upfront with me about the price, process, what I would need to do and what he could do. He answered all of my phone calls, emailed me all the paperwork i requested and kept me updated during every step of this process. When the judge refused to lift my warrant he fought for me to be able to post bail from out of state and got the judge to sign off on it when the judge was very clear he wanted me to fly out to CA for this case. Jimmy went to court for me today for the last time and got my case dismissed!! He called me as soon as he got out of court with the great news. His pricing is extremely fair, no hidden fees or extra charges. He was a pleasure to speak with and I would recommend him to anyone I know. I also want to say that I am an addict in recovery, I have been clean and sober for over 5 years and my case was drug related. I received no judgement from Jimmy, only understanding and compassion.  Verified Mr. Cha, he is the real TOP GUN attorney (who I did call but they did not give me a good response). I received my second DUI in in a 10 year period and just did not know where to go so I read the reviews and Mr. Cha was perfect in all his reviews that I read. Never seen that before on anything so I decided to give Mr. Cha a call. Was I surprised, first of all he answered my phone call from his cell phone. Never heard that before either. He told me he personally answered all his calls,(not typical for any attorney) He was diligent in every aspect of my case, kept me up in every step of the way. He does listen to you (that other reviews commented) which is rare in attorneys. Timing is critical in your case and Mr. Cha knows the court system well to give you the best shot at the most favorable outcome. Every case will be different so I will not go over what happened on my case but it could of been really ugly. I was looking at losing my license and serious jail time. I did not go to jail or lose my license (interlock installed but that is a state law) He is well respected in the court system and everyone knows him. This is a stressful time for everyone but Mr. Cha has all the right answers and provides the correct solutions for your problem. Again, he will LISTEN and provide the best possible outcome.  Verified I was arrested for DUI (pot). $2000. I might've been able to make it home that day with the helicopter ride. it would have been cheaper or not. H e said a free trial would be necessary if I want to beat it or not. $10,000 for expert witnesses, etc. I have no alcohol blood level at the time i was pulled over .He, gave me a choice to retest for 250 with marajuana-I said no. too much already. said later, after a few months of stress and worry and bout $4000 with DUI classes, a lot of lost time with people I love and a big learning experience. A criminal record now and a "wet reckless" which, they kind of play down for me in court maybe not for you. Be good. I'm just lucky that's all and he's a pretty good guy I guess
