Being able to work with Jimmy was truly a great experience!

Initially this was an old case that I had hope to put behind me, however, it kept finding a way to creep back into my life and when my previous attorney said nothing could be done I initially lost all hope. I remember meeting Jimmy and remembered him being a defense attorney and thought it was worth asking.

I reached out during the weekend not really expecting a response until Monday, but he immediately called me and asked me about my case. I gave him a brief description and he was able to put me at ease and said he would happily take on the case.

To be honest, I was hesitant at first as my previous attorney said nothing could be done, but something in me told me to just go with it and I’m sure glad I did. Not only was he extremely professional and communicative throughout the entire process, he was able to get my so called “unfixable” issue resolved. I am truly grateful that Jimmy was able to help me and know he has done so for so many other people as well.

Lawyers are the people that you hope you never need, however, glad that I know Jimmy if I ever needed anything again. Jimmy came to the rescue. After a horrible experience and firing the first attorney I hired, I called Jimmy. I was facing considerable jail time, and explained the whole situation to him. He immediately took my case without question or doubt. His confidence and supreme experience came into clutch throughout the entire court process. Unlike my previous attorney, Jimmy was always responsive and always on time to all of my court hearings, which goes a long way to me. He really batted for me and worked really hard on my case. After over 2 years of fighting my case, Jimmy was able to save me from any jail time and I was able to keep my drivers license. I highly recommend Jimmy as a criminal defense lawyer in the OC area. My goal was for my case was dismissal, and Jimmy successfully got my case dismissed.

For my attorney search, I scoped out to 4 lawyers, and Jimmy was my confident choice for a few reasons. He is not only highly proficient in keeping up to date in the amending OC laws, but he’s also extremely knowledgeable and efficient in navigating through the OC court system.

1. Local knowledge of Anahiem court system - After I provided details of my case during my consultation call, he gave me a very detailed run down of the court that my arraignment was to take place (changes in judge rotations, arraignment room number, pre-trial room, etc…). He’s been practicing law in OC since 2004 and is ingrained in the local judicial community (active member in North County Bar Association). I felt assured that he had a good reputation with the Anahiem lawyer community (lawyers and judges). Jimmy also informed me that his office is a mile away from North Justice Center and that he represents all of his clients (no associate substitute).

2. Ease of communication - Because Jimmy works directly with all of his clients (no associates), I had direct access to him via phone, text, and email. He answered all my questions within the day. He would always give me a heads up when he would be unavailable (because he was at court) and followed up with a timeframe of answering back.

3. Proactivity - After my consultation call (before I made the decision to hire Jimmy and was scoping additional lawyers), he went out of his way to update me about a timely announcement from Jennifer Contini’s (Chief Deputy Anahiem City Attorney) that may positively impact my overall situation. I was honestly surprised that Jimmy took the time to call and update me even though I wasn’t officially his client. It made a deep impression. After I officially hired Jimmy, he was clear in my next action items to strengthen a dismissal outcome.
