Jimmy is a great lawyer. He has years of criminal defense experience and is very dedicated to his clients. I was facing multiple felonies in June 2023 and I called Jimmy maybe a day or two after I bailed out of jail. After getting arrested this last year and facing a serious felony charge, I was referred to check out Jimmy Cha by a friend of our family. After looking through his reviews and hearing about what kind of person he was, I knew immediately that he was the right man for the job, and I'm so glad I trusted my gut and trusted Jimmy with my case. Facing the dire situation that I was involved in, I couldn't just hire any run-of-the-mill lawyer. This is coming from someone who hasn't spent a single dime on his services. I first called him for an initial (free) consultation and he took a significant amount of his own time to speak to me about my situation. He even phoned me the next day to offer further assistance without any prompting or request from me. If anything, I am writing this review as a way to thank him for such a kind gesture. I had a warrant out for my arrest in 2012 in California, I was in California for only 4 months in 2012 and have lived in New England and Florida ever since. I do not know anyone in CA so I researched well known attorneys in the area and came across Jimmy and his great reviews. Since the first phone call he was upfront with me about the price, process, what I would need to do and what he could do. He answered all of my phone calls, emailed me all the paperwork i requested and kept me updated during every step of this process. When the judge refused to lift my warrant he fought for me to be able to post bail from out of state and got the judge to sign off on it when the judge was very clear he wanted me to fly out to CA for this case. Jimmy went to court for me today for the last time and got my case dismissed!! He called me as soon as he got out of court with the great news. Mr. Cha, he is the real TOP GUN attorney (who I did call but they did not give me a good response). I received my second DUI in in a 10 year period and just did not know where to go so I read the reviews and Mr. Cha was perfect in all his reviews that I read. Never seen that before on anything so I decided to give Mr. Cha a call. Was I surprised, first of all he answered my phone call from his cell phone. Never heard that before either. He told me he personally answered all his calls,(not typical for any attorney) He was diligent in every aspect of my case, kept me up in every step of the way. He does listen to you (that other reviews commented) which is rare in attorneys. Timing is critical in your case and Mr. Cha knows the court system well to give you the best shot at the most favorable outcome. Every case will be different so I will not go over what happened on my case but it could of been really ugly. I was looking at losing my license and serious jail time. I did not go to jail or lose my license (interlock installed but that is a state law) He is well respected in the court system and everyone knows him. This is a stressful time for everyone but Mr. Cha has all the right answers and provides the correct solutions for your problem. Again, he will LISTEN and provide the best possible outcome. I was arrested for DUI (pot). $2000. I might've been able to make it home that day with the helicopter ride. it would have been cheaper or not. H e said a free trial would be necessary if I want to beat it or not. $10,000 for expert witnesses, etc. I have no alcohol blood level at the time i was pulled over .He, gave me a choice to retest for 250 with marajuana-I said no. too much already. said later, after a few months of stress and worry and bout $4000 with DUI classes, a lot of lost time with people I love and a big learning experience. A criminal record now and a "wet reckless" which, they kind of play down for me in court maybe not for you. Be good. I'm just lucky that's all and he's a pretty good guy I guess
