In an Ohio State University research, researchers found out that young people determine whether or not they have had enough to drink the same way a car’s cruise control determines whether to accelerate or to hit the breaks.
In short, the preliminary finds found that young people drink to the point to get drunk. Once at the level of intoxication they want to be at, they sip or gulp to maintain that level of being drunk.
Would be interesting if they did a research to determine how young people determine what level of being drunk is okay to drink and drive or not.
